This bacon is smoked but uncured and thick cut. Each package contains about 12 strips of bacon. We believe this tastes perfect and has sufficient "salitiness". If this is your first order, cook one strip, taste, and decide if you need additional salt. If needed, thaw & set bacon strips on a plate and sprinkle salt (1/2 tsp per pound) across each side of bacon and let set for 5 minutes. Cook to desired crispiness and when done, add additional salt to taste if needed.
