A week-long day camp centered around discovering where food comes from, how it is cultivated or raised, and why your food choices matter.
Campers explore the joys of farming through a blend of learning activities, crafts, and games. Each day will highlight a different farm animal, vegetable, and aspect of farm life with an emphasis on food & where it comes from.
Open to campers between 8 and 14 years old.
Camp begins at 10am & ends at 3pm, rain or shine. Camp meets at the Corn Crib (open red barn at the top of the driveway).
Please arrive fully hydrated, sunscreened & bug-sprayed, wearing active, summer appropriate clothing & shoes that can get wet & dirty (t-shirt, shorts & tennis shoes / creek shoes). In addition, please bring a bag with a full water bottle, snack, towel, and a change of clothes.
Lunch WILL BE provided (Please let us know of any allergies in the release form - sent to you upon registration, to be filled out & brought on the first day of camp).
